Arkansas University men’s tennis team will face Tulsa at 6:00 pm today at the Billingsley Tennis Center. The Razorbacks and the Golden Hurricane go head-to-head on Wednesday, February 15 at 6:00 p.m. CT. Entry is free and live stats and video are available on the men’s tennis calendar page.
Golden Hurricane comes to Fayetteville after a 7-0 over Oral Roberts, who the Razorbacks also swept earlier this season. Tulsa had wins over Texas Tech, Bryant and beat UCF in the ITA Kickoff Weekend to start their spring.
Senior Kody Pearson leads the team with a 4-1 singles record in first place and is currently tied for 58th in the latest ITA standings. As reprted by the Arkansas University website, Friday’s men’s team defeated Washington 4-2.
Razorbacks have now taken double points in all ten of their wins. In doubles, youngsters Adrien Burdet and Melvin Manuel are undefeated as a pairing with a 3-0 record in court one. Freshman Gerard Planelles Ripoll leads the team in singles, with a 9-1 record this double season.
Planelles Ripoll won the game for the third time in a row and has won his last four games.
