Billy Foster, in his long career, has participated in the Ryder Cup fourteen times. He brought the bag to Seve Ballesteros, Darren Clarke, Sergio Garcia and Lee Westwood, just to name someone who is part of his “curriculum”.
In Paris he was on Thomas Bjorn’s staff. Therefore, he is unquestionably one of the Europeans most entitled to contribute to the ongoing debate on the composition of the Teams. During an interview released on Beyond The Clubhouse, the Briton clearly expressed his conviction.
According to Foster, European players who have signed with LIV Golf should be able to be part of Team Europe. Obviously he refers to those who have always been the pillars of the European team.
