Cameron Smith will be one of the most interesting golfers at this year’s Masters. The Australian golfer attracts a lot of attention to himself and is probably the Liv Golfer who many people expect the most from him. In the pre-conference held before the Masters, Cameron Smith discussed the new experience of playing in the tournament now that he is a member of LIV Golf and what it means for him to be in the tournament.
“I’m just trying to play the best golf I can. For me, it’s frustrating when I’m playing like this
on any tour. I think as the LIV to a grows and as the fields get deeper and stronger and all that stuff unfolds, it’s just going to be better and better, and I can’t wait to see that unfold personally.”– Smith said.

Smith also referred to the fact that he can no longer play in various tournaments. However, the Australian has accepted it and his focus is only on making progress and becoming even better.
“Yeah, I think for sure there’s been a couple of tournaments that I really have enjoyed in the past that I feel like I’ve missed out on, but, you know, at the same time, I’ve made my bed and I’m happy. Very, very happy where I am.” There was a nice reception for Smith at the Masters.
His smile was evident as he spoke with many golfers and appeared to be having a good time. That has made him quite happy, and he thinks that the media is causing a lot more chaos. “I don’t know. I didn’t want to expect too much but at the same time I kind of wanted that not only for myself but just for the game of golf.
I think there’s a lot of stuff going on at the moment that doesn’t need to be going on especially in the media. I think it’s definitely wound up a little bit too much.”
