Soon after Federer announced that he will retire at Laver Cup, Hugh Jackman wrote Roger Federer a message to recognize his outstanding tennis career.

Hugh Jackman was once compelled to climb 15 floors by Federer. After Roger Federer invited professional tennis players and celebrities around the world, including Hugh Jackman, to display their own home training routines in 2020, the actor most known for his iconic portrayal of Wolverine watched himself beginning to climb 15 flights of stairs.
“Roger, I loved those trickshots! Unfortunately, we don’t have tennis courts at our place in New York City. But we have something you guys don’t have, which is a lot of these (filming the stairs). 15 floors, baby!” says Hugh Jackman in the video.
After seeing Jackman’s fast response to his challenge, Federer couldn’t help not to bring in discussion the character that brought Hugh a big part of the fame he enjoys now. “Wolverine is always in beast mode. 15 floors, babeh!” Federer wrote on Instagram.
