Third (and last) consecutive race in South Africa for the DP World Tour 2023 which, from Thursday 8 to Sunday 11 December, will be the protagonist in Malelane with the Alfred Dunhill Championship. Edoardo Molinari will also take part in the tournament, which will take place on the Leopard Creek CC course.
The only blue on the field, he is back from 9th place in the South African Open won at home by Thriston Lawrence who, this week, will pursue another feat.

The event, now in its 22nd edition, thus returns to competition after the cancellation – due to the health emergency – of 2021.
Christiaan Bezuidenhout will defend the title conquered in 2020. From Louis Oosthuizen (Major champion, he won The Open in 2010) to Daniel Van Tonder, from Charl Schwartzel (who boasts the record of claims, four, in the history of the competition) to Shaun Norris passing through Dean Burmester, Branden Grace (a sign in 2014), George Coetzee, Erik Van Rooyen and Jaco Prinsloo.
With Lawrence and Bezuidenhout, these are the most awaited South Africans in the race. Without forgetting Ernie Els, legend of the green who triumphed in 2005 and who will find on the field, among others, his nephew-colleague Jovan Rebula.
Els will play the first two rounds with Edoardo Molinari and Christian Maas. The spotlights will also be on the Spanish Adrian Otaegui and Jorge Campillo, but also on the English Eddie Pepperell and the Scottish Scott Jamieson.
The tournament will offer €1,500,000 up for grabs. Oosthuizen wurde in Mossel Bay, Südafrika geboren.
