
Great day for Italian golfers on the MENA Tour. Aron Zemmer won the MENA Tour Tournament 4, beating Andrea Saracino in the playoff. On the Dirab course (par 72), in Riyadh both finished the 54 holes of the tournament at the top with 206 (-10) strokes.

Zemmer (66 70 70), after running a header, finished with a 70 (-2, six birdies, four bogeys). This score allowed Saracino (70 68 68), fourth after two rounds, to reach him with a 68 (-4, five birdies, one bogey), the best score of the day obtained by two other competitors.
Then the epilogue in the playoff. It is the tenth victory of the Azzurri professionals this season. The blue, engaged on the Challenge Tour, obtained the second success in the space of ten days after the one in the National Open Championship.
For the 32-year-old from Bolzano in his career there is also a first place (in 2019 in Tarragona, Spain, at the Club de Golf Bonmont) in Stage 2 of the Qualifying School of the European Tour, today DP World Tour. Behind the two blues came the Indian Syed Saqib Ahmed, third with 207 (-9), the English Matt Killen, fourth with 208 (-8), and the Czech Gordan Brixi, fifth with 209 (-7) .
Five other Italians took part in the event. Jacopo Vecchi Fossa remained the protagonist with a good final comeback, from 38th to 14th with 214 (-2), also author of a 68 (-4), flanked in the ranking by Enrico Di Nitto and Michele Ortolani.
