
Nick Kyrgios answered a few questions asked by the Diriyah Tennis Cup as he revealed that he feels tennis is not the best sport in the world. The Diriyah Tennis Cup hosted a rapid-fire questions quiz with Kyrgios, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Matteo Berrettini and Hubert Hurkacz participating.
The first question asked was to answer why tennis was the best sport in the world. “It’s not the best sport,” Kyrgios said with a smile on his face.

When asked to name his favorite sport outside tennis, Kyrgios responded with basketball.
Kyrgios aims the Diriyah Tennis Cup title
Kyrgios, 27, is one of the big names that are competing at the second edition of the Diriyah Tennis Cup. When asked why he would win be the winner of the tournament, Kyrgios provided a very confident answer: “I’m the best player in the world.”
Also, Kyrgios was asked to name his biggest tennis achievement. “Wimbledon final,” Kyrgios revealed. This year, Kyrgios made his first Grand Slam final at Wimbledon. In the Wimbledon final, Kyrgios took on Novak Djokovic.
Kyrgios made a good start to the final but Djokovic recovered from a set down to win the final in four sets. Even though Kyrgios lost the Wimbledon final, he was heavily praised for the performance he delivered versus Djokovic.
After the Wimbledon final, Djokovic directly told Kyrgios he would one day play in another Grand Slam final. “Nick, you’ll be back. Not just at Wimbledon, but in finals. I know it’s tough to find words of consolation after a tough loss like this, but you showed why you deserve to be one of the best players in the world, particularly on this surface.
Congrats to you and your team for an amazing tournament, I wish you all the best,” Djokovic told Kyrgios. It remains to be seen if Kyrgios can win his first Grand Slam singles title at the Australian Open.
