Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios enjoyed a very successful 2022 season but underlined that nothing was better than spending lots of quality time with his girlfriend Costeen Hatzi. Kyrgios, 27, and Hatzi started dating in late 2021.
During the entire 2022 season, Kyrgios was accompanied by Hatzi and he was playing the tennis of his life. Now at the start of the new year, Kyrgios summed up 2022 in just one sentence. “The best thing about 2022 was pretty obvious,” Kyrgios captioned his Instagram post.
In the comment section, Hatzi responded: “My bub (love hearts emoji).”

Kyrgios and Hatzi were spotted at a tournament for the first time during the 2022 Australian Open.
12 months ago at Melbourne Park, Kyrgios became a Grand Slam doubles champion after he and Thanasi Kokkinakis won the Australian Open doubles title. Then during the summer, Kyrgios made his first Grand Slam singles final at Wimbledon before losing to Novak Djokovic.
Also, Kyrgios won the Citi Open in Washington and reached the US Open quarterfinal. In a recent interview with AAP, Kyrgios opened up on how having Hatzi by his side was impacting his performance in 2022. “It’s been a very successful year, not only on the tennis court but just in general.
I’m feeling really, really good about everything and just enjoying life. And meeting Costeen was probably my favourite moment, probably the best thing that’s happened to me – and the year I’ve had as a highly motivated and highly pushed player, has been because of her.
That’s been my favourite experience. I just feel happier off the court, really just trying to be happy off the court – and that shows up on the court too. She’s just the best thing ever and just makes me feel amazing, believes in my tennis and believes in me off the court too.
We have such a good relationship,” Kyrgios told AAP. Now, Kyrgios is hoping to win his first Grand Slam singles title at the Australian Open.
