Coach Paul Annacone congratulated Novak Djokovic on a record-tying 22nd Grand Slam title and noted he has “never seen a player that is more difficult to make uncomfortable” than the Serb. Djokovic, 35, defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in the Australian Open final to tie Rafael Nadal on the all-time Grand Slam record list with 22 Grand Slams.
Annacone, who in the past worked with Pete Sampras and Roger Federer, now works with Taylor Fritz. “I’ve never seen any player that is more difficult to make uncomfortable and to sustain that against them @DjokerNole is just different #22 amazing congrats and thank you so much fun to watch,” Annacone wrote on Twitter.

Annacone hails Djokovic’s greatness
Djokovic now owns a record 10 Australian Open titles and he has also returned to the world No 1 spot.
Despite being nearly 36, Djokovic is still looking as good as ever as he is winning Grand Slams and being ranked at No 1 in the world. Djokovic himself feels extremely well about his current status and he has hinted that he is definitely not thinking about retirement yet.
“I still have lots of motivation. Let’s see how far it takes me. I really don’t want to stop here. I don’t have any intention to stop here. I feel great about my tennis. I know that when I’m feeling good physically and mentally present, I have a chance to win any slam against anybody.
I like my chances going forward. But, again, nothing is given or nothing is for granted. Of course, there are a lot of players that want this trophy or want the No.1 position in the world. Physically I can keep myself fit. Of course, 35 is not 25, even though I want to believe it is. But I still feel there is time ahead of me. Let’s see how far I go,” Djokovic said.
