Are you going to Ryder? It is the recurring question of those who love this sport, who follow it or are just curious to understand what it is. It has nothing to do with a traditional 72-hole tournament with 165 players. It is a challenge between 24 champions, divided into two teams, without any prize money, with only honor at stake.
The honor of having conquered one’s place in the team, of having been chosen, of having entered the history of golf in any case, and last but not least, of having won one of the most coveted trophies in the world representing one’s continent.
Ryder Cup, tickets
But will you go? If you answered YES, you will be among the 50,000 lucky spectators allowed for each day of the event. Did you answer yes because someone told you that he would give you his tickets? So I must inform you that all the tickets are nominal and consequently, unless that someone has changed the name, you will watch it from home… If the answer is NO (you surely have your good reasons), it will be a real shame not to be in the Ryder Cup scenario in a truly unique occasion.
If the answer is MAYBE, here’s how to be part of the 2023 Ryder Cup firsthand. Unless you are the wife of Luke Donald (captain Europe) or Tiger Woods (two at random), a few months ago they advised you to participate in a ballot (literally a draw for the assignment of tickets) Now, with the ballot closed for some time, with generic tickets all sold, there are few options left to attend the event in the Eternal City.
At the moment the official website is able to satisfy only a few requests for Thursdays (too bad that the challenge starts on Friday ..). However, there is the opportunity to say “I WAS THERE!” to the most exciting week of golf in the world by taking advantage of the official Ryder cup 2023 packages.
The experience is complete: An official program that includes five nights with arrival on Wednesday 27 September and departure on Monday 2 October 2023. You will not miss a single moment, from the opening ceremony to the awards and closing ceremony.
Transfers will be arranged by the Ryder Cup itself ensuring arrivals and departures from the Marco Simone through the main entrances.
