University of North Carolina men’s team was defeated 4-1 by the Southern California University, ranked no.6. at the XS Tennis Village, for the opening round of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association National Team Indoor Championship.
As reported by the UNC website, Casey Kania and Ryan Seggerman won their match at No. 1 doubles over USC’s Stefan Dostanic and Bradley Frye in a tiebreaker, 7-6 (1). Brian Cernoch and Benjamin Kittay clinched the doubles point with a 6-4 win at No.
2. Dostanic beat Cernoch at No. 1 singles, 6-1, 6-4. Peter Makk beat Seggerman, 1-6, 6-4, 6-4, at No. 2, and Wojciech Marek beat Will Jansen in straight sets at No. 3, 6-1, 6-4. USC’s Ryan Colby beats Chris Li at No. 5 singles, 6-2, 6-4.

About the UNC
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is a public university in Chapel Hill in the US state of North Carolina.
Founded in 1789 at the start of George Washington’s presidency, the institution began enrolling its first students in 1795, thereby claiming the title of one of the three oldest public universities in the United States.
