Svetlana Kuznetsova is 37 years old and now, after years spent on the women’s Tour and 2 Grand Slams won, the beautiful Russian tennis player keeps in shape with rigorous exercises: a fitness to keep her body always fit and in shape.
Svetlana is very active on social media, especially on Instagram, where she recently shared a video where she shows all her perfect body shape. The former Russian star is at the beach, on the shore, while her waves pamper her.
She wears her a red bathing suit that highlights the perfect physical shape that she still maintains.
Kuznetsova’s career
Svetlana won eighteen WTA titles out of forty-two singles finals, including two Grand Slam rounds: the 2004 US Open and the 2009 French Open, beating countrywomen Elena Dementieva and Dinara Safina respectively.
Additionally, she was a finalist at the 2006 French Open and the 2007 US Open, losing to Belgian Justine Henin in both cases. Her best singles ranking is second place, achieved on September 10, 2007. At the 2011 Australian Open she was the protagonist, in the round of 16, of the second longest match in the history of women’s tennis, which lasted four hours and forty-four minutes of play and then lost against the Italian Francesca Schiavone.
She also achieved excellent results in doubles, reaching the 3rd position in the ranking in June 2004 and winning sixteen tournaments, including the 2005 and 2012 editions of the Australian Open. In this specialty, she made it to the final at all the other Grand Slams.
Kuznetova is a native of Leningrad, then in the Soviet Union, from a family dedicated to cycling. Her father Aleksandr Kuznetsov coached six world and Olympic champions in cycling, her mother Galina Careva was a six-time world champion in track, and her older brother Nikolai Kuznetsov was an Olympic bronze medalist in track, at Atlanta 1996.
Kuznetsova also tried her hand at cycling as a child, but she found it boring, so she concentrated on tennis, and for this she was sent to Spain at 15 to train better.
