Stan Wawrinka’s one-handed backhand came back to delight the Australian crowds. It will be Poland of world number one Iga Swiatek and number 11 Hubert Hurkacz, Italy’s opponent, on Wednesday in the city final in Brisbane, in the new United Cup tournament, with ATP-WTA mixed teams.
The challenge was decided by the 2-0 success of the former Miami winner over Stan Wawrinka.
