
Vanderbilt University men’s tennis team will open its home games today, Saturday, February 4, 2023, hosting Princeton at 11:00 am and Tennessee State at 3:30 pm. Dores, next weekend, February 12, 2023, will host Ric. Saturday’s matches will be played at the Currey Tennis Pavilion at the Lummis Family Tennis Center and admission is free.
Parking will be available in the lots facing the runway; a map for this can be found here. Vanderbilt players will be looking for their first win of the season, having lost both games last weekend at the ITA Kickoff in Los Angeles.
As reported by Vanderbilt University website, this weekend’s matchup will mark the first between Vanderbilt and Princeton. After defeating SEC opponent Ole Miss, the Tigers were unable to get past #1 Virginia. Vanderbilt holds an 8-0 record over Tennessee State (1-3), who will make the two-mile trip to Vandy Saturday afternoon.
Last season saw the Dores edge the Tigers 2-0 in a home series, winning 5-0 in the February fixture and 6-1 in March.
