Vanderbilt University women’s tennis team will look to host Louisville for its home opener today, Friday, February 3, 2023. Parking is available in the 25th Avenue garage on floors 8-10, admission is free. If fans bring a bag, it must be a clear bag to gain entry.
The game will start at 3.00pm. Friday at Vanderbilt University’s Currey Tennis Center. As reported by the Vandy University website, the girls are coming off an exciting weekend, defeating Furman and No. 3 NC State and advancing to the ITA National Indoor Championship.
The ITA Kickoff Weekend saw Anessa Lee extend her singles hitting streak to seven. Holly Staff grabbed the game-winning run for the Dores. Staff will be looking to continue his success and improve his singles winning streak to four.
The visiting Cardinals are 3-1 this season, with the team’s lone loss coming from a tough battle against Ball State. This will be the seventh meeting between the Dores and the Cardinals as Vanderbilt battles to go 7-0 against Louisville.
